Happy New Year
As we said on Facebook, we wish all our friends, your friends, and those whom you would not call “friends”, we wish everyone good dreams. For us a great dream (or dream understanding ) tells you how to bring your deepest self, your processmind into everyday life, moment by moment. In this coming year, we promise to suggest how your processmind connects not only to everyday life, and to the earth, but to the structure of the cosmos.

Gravity and Psychology
What falls most quickly, a heavy rock or little pebble? The answer from physics is both fall at the same rate because gravity (space-time) pulls every object in the same way. Nature also pulls each of us at the same rate. Each is drawn towards the infinite in the same way because the cosmos works on each of us similarly, though we each manifest it differently. From this viewpoint, no one is more spiritual , than the next.

Nov. 17 Facebook Comment on Organizations!
Most leaders think in terms of legal structures, money, social, +spiritual power. Or the earth is considered…but without a spirit. Yet small and immense groups are still human beings living on a mysterious earth! Remember dreaming and process awareness of roles. Quiet mystics are just as needed as powerful leaders.

Oct 30 Comment on Deep Democracy
Deep Democracy for kids?? YES! Until now I have used worldwork’s philosophy and methods to focus on large organizational processes, social issues, political scenes etc. But in the link below, Amy Mindell, bless her heart+camera, caught me playing out Deep D. for kids. Hope you enjoy this 1min and 28 sec film.
Mindell’s Deep Democracy for Kids of all Ages http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDcM5KUTQf4 (Mindell’s 1988 Deep Democracy concept is about equal rights +awareness of feelings, history, and the unknown lying in the background. In this very simple video, the unknown in the background is portrayed in part by the figure with a green cap, playing historical memories.)

4 Questions about the “Processmind“
Lots of attention recently to Processmind’s publication! However, Arny was especially inspired by the four quesions of interviewer, Mr. Tomasz Stawiszynski Read more here: ProcessMind Interview with Newsweek Poland’s Tomasz Stawiszynski
Thanks to Susan Kocen for pointing out the positive support for process oriented political ideas in the Canadian Newspaper, The Globe and Mail on October 11. “ Jonathan Garfinkel, the reviewer of Micah Toub’s “Growing up Jung” in speaking of Toub’s ideasspeaks encouragingly about worldwork. Click:
An interview about Arny’s development of process work will appear (this month) in Newsweek in Poland. Arny thought the interviewer, Mr. Tomasz Stawiszynski was especially gifted at bringing out the background of processwork. A slightly edited English version of that interview can be read by clicking : Newsweek Poland Oct2010

It’ s good to see the Deep D. Institute’s public letter saying…”we have new national and international certifications in Deep Democracy Leadership, DD Coaching, DD Group Facilitation, DD Organizational and Business Development, and DD Conflict Resolution. For students who feel so inclined, there is also an additional year for a Deep Democracy Institute Certificate with Excellence.
Also new, is ….the Deep Democracy Diploma. ….a Worldwork Diploma, where students develop the same rigor, dedication and connection to a deeper learning process as the Process Work Diploma. The difference however is, that the content focus is more aimed at people working with the collective aspect of transformation. See Part 1 and 2 of the video: http://www.deepdemocracyinstitute.org/DEEP-DEMOCRACY-LIVES-THE-BLO.63.0.html
and/or the basic outline http://tiny.cc/ddi-learn There will be certifications ….in USA and Western Europe www.deepdemocracyinstitute.org, East Africa www.ddi-eastafrica.co.ke
Ukraine www.ddi.in.ua , Russia www.deepdemocracy.ru , and Deep Democracy Institute Palestine.”
One such idea comes from a follower of Jung’s, Arnold Mindell. Toub’s parents were disciples of “Arny,” a guru-like figure in their hippie Jung world, but Arny’s theories are anything but flaky. “Every family has a culture,” Toub’s mother intones in Arny-speak, thus implying that “the terrorist in the family” is the marginalized one, the one who goes against a family’s values, whatever they may be. Arny, according to Toub, doesn’t only apply this theory to family dynamics, but has worked in international conflict resolution as well (how successful Arny has been in this role, Toub does not say). Toub sums up Arny’s position:
“The very existence of the terrorist comes about because certain qualities are repressed from the mainstream. … Conflict arises in groups … from a need to shift the culture in a direction that is more inclusive and whole. Both the country and the family need to figure out how to integrate the terrorist’s qualities and attitudes into the mainstream culture to make the terrorist role unnecessary.”
While such a tactic may seem daunting, if not insightful, it warrants consideration in light of our current and largely unsuccessful global war on terror. On a smaller scale, it has relevant consequences for resolving family disputes.
