Fight for justice, vote, then recycle opponents (use their energy better), i.e. recall everyone is needed to create a feeling of home. Support all races, religions, nationalities, sex. orientations, ages, health, poor+rich, etc. Participate-play-facilitate all roles as parts belonging to all. Then problems become invitations to a better, more participatory, living community.

Community? Deep Democracy sees any group as a whole consisting of 3 experiential levels I. individuals+environment, II. people +parts as shared inner feelings+dreams (like projections), III. a field that influences moods, feelings+realities. Sense the field+represent each part. It’s inner +outer work—(in dreams, everyone does this naturally). Facilitation is everyone’s responsibility. “Leader” types without facilitator-ship are old fashioned, thinking awareness+power are theirs. Yes, 99+1, all please take a firm stand, then all, please use awareness+ OCCUPY EVERYTHING . This helps the world change from power to awareness paradigms.
YES OCCUPY! For sustainable community, inside+on the streets: please notice, OCCUPY and EXPLORE ALL real people, and remember they are also ROLES in each of us; the 1%, the 99%. OCCUPY 100%!!!+understand poverty, wealth, power… occupy the Facilitator who helps all sides, roles and people know each other in a dialogue, and as a dance…so community can happen and necessary outer change will occur. Can it happen? It depends upon all of us supporting one another to do it.

Wall Street Occupation! Whose side are u on? 1 or 99%? The 1-in-power or we-the-people-99% who want to be heard. 1%powers don’t connect much to ” the People”. However, the big powers+the people are also roles. In the deepest democracy, each of us is every role over time. Arny’s class on body symptoms in Portland was about -How just pushing or “doing” life without enough connection to the deepest self can be a source of feeling unwell. We studied how body symptoms may be connected to abuse issues+how they connect to the nondualistic Processmind.
Awesome people amy and arny met at their seminar “The Meditating Mediator ” in September. With awareness, the group went into various versions of “hell on earth” including extreme + gory conflict scenes around our world. Holding their center, this multicultural group produced more creative hope than we could ever have hoped for. Don’t hesitate to CONSCIOUSLY know +use the energy of forces “against” you for the benefit of everyone!

According to Robbie Townsend Vennel, an Alaskan group based on Deep Democracy she has worked with, together with Marty Shuravaloff and Woody Koning, “The Kodiak Archipelago Rural Regional Leadership Forum”, is in its 7th year and getting state-wide attention as a best practice! This Forum supports rural Kodiak communities to provide best practices, develop agency + intercommunity relationships, to support community and environmental plans. “Amy’s mine, but was busy this morning when I needed a tip. Conflict between 3 groups puzzled me. So I ran to the sea+felt “oh master tell me what to do.” Its answer worked! Be quiet, then slowly rise+splash on lava rocks, then be silent again, then rise, dance +yell etc. I had been too steady earlier! My learning? Listen to the guru …As I got this idea from the sea, to make things more wonderful, a whale jumped about 30 meters away! ” (From Arny’s Facebook page)

Thanks to Via Nova publishers in Germany and translator Dr. Achim Goeres, and Hakjisa publishers in S. Korea and translator Dr. Yang Myong, Suk, Arny’s “Quantum Mind” can can now be read in German and Korean as well as English.
We are studying and involved in global conflicts between environmental activists+ business-economic “experts”. Since the whole world is involved, who can we trust to facilitate such a complex situation? Global problems associated with climate change have hundreds of non-linear couplings and links…and require a global approach. This is a place for deep democracy and earth-mind/processmind. From this viewpoint, each+all sides are important; they are the earth speaking with herself. This approach is both ancient+new.

Confidentiality asks that we withhold details of the seminar experiences. However with awareness, many people, dreaming into radiation, electric +nuclear group problems brought forward not only death, but also ghosts and new spring flowers. In a place where tourists feared to tread, new dreams +worlds came to birth.

Worldwork with hundreds of people was incredible, thanks to Waynelle Wilder, Aleks Peikrishvili, Mara Norman and the whole worldwork staff. We worked on issues of race, immigration, nuclear energy, women and men, diversity in Africa, Palestine and Israel, Korea and Japan, the environment, the “north-south” split in the EU, Latin American diversity. and much more.

Thanks for all your questions. Yes, we are coming, and will work with anxiety, depression, shock…and also freedom and future using innerwork, in relationships and organizations.
Tsunami Questions! People ask us, “Was it God, Karma, Devil or human foolishness in back of the huge earthquake and resulting problems? We feel that the belief that works for you best, is the best belief. For us, it was Nature=process. That is why we encourage people to work with the shock involved, and then use a psychological or spiritual tradition for help. For example, become the earth’s power, the power you project on nature, and use it well to help yourself and communities flow with all kinds of changes. We very much believe that Japan can do it, and model this for others!….and we will do all we can to be in Tokyo in the beginning of May.

In this interview, Will Hall of Madness Radio ( www.madnessradio.net ) asks Arny about his long experience in working with extreme (that is statistically unusual) states of consciousness. Processwork prefers the term “extreme” to “psychosis”, because the word “extreme” stresses the unusual (in contrast to the pathologically “sick”) nature of what we all experience (more or less). The sense of safety and equality for our world requires deep democracy’s “awareness work”. This means modeling and encouraging others to promote not only a democracy based upon debate + voting, but a deeper democracy based on the shaman’s ability to facilitate +create community by bringing the worlds together. How? Base what you do and how you relate upon your deepest self, your processmind.
On his birthday Fukushima Roshi’s travels on this earth ended. Amazing, for some reason on March 1 in the middle of the night arny got out of bed for some unknown reason, and began dancing in the darkness screaming freedom! Amy joined in for a lot of fun.
We feel it was connected to our dear friend Keido Fukushima, it was the Roshi’s freedom dance. Amy remembers him at our house in Yachats. She showed him one of the baskets she made, and he put it on his head as a hat and roared with laughter. He loved the coast and the processwork-community. Arny remembers the Roshi thanking him for being the one person who did not bow down to him, but instead gave him a big hug.
We loved that Roshi. He asked us to help rebuild the original Rinzai Zen temple in China with him. He was open and his teachings were his way of being. When Amy told him her mother died the night before we once saw him in Kyoto, he said, looking at amy, “That’s IT!” So we know he would like us to remember–that’s it for him too–remember his wisdom: every day is a fine day. Goodbye dear friend, we miss you, and don’t miss you because you are sitting with us writing this right now.

EU wants more “DEEP DEMOCRACY” IN EGYPT and TUNISIA!
Feb 4, 2011 … The EU wants ‘deep democracy’ to take root in Egypt and Tunisia according to Catherine Ashton, E.U. foreign minister to the UN. Some of us would prefer her concept to be closer to my original meaning that included “dreams”, == still this shows how processwork terms spread around the world. January: Murder in Arizona, Politics-more awareness needed!
6 People die! Attempted shooting of US congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords! Sad and Horrible! Let’s stop shooting! Our greatest leaders too often get shot. Yet in addition to grief, what can we learn? Our ideas follow:
Perhaps there is a spirit or “ghost role” in the community saying, “leaders change!” If you are a (political) leading person doing open forums, please get as much training and psychological support as possible. If your office has been shot at (as Giffords’ was), consider the time-spirit saying, “not you, not today”. Please learn to model sanity not only by protecting yourself and everyone else more, but also by asking if and how you as a leader need to drop or change part of your direction, even if slightly. We understand that it’s right for some to die for what they believe in, but we also need leaders with more sustainable lives as well. Thank you.
